UDIT and AEBRAND to promote training and knowledge management in branding
- They have signed an agreement that will promote the development of joint training, consultancy and research activities, boost knowledge transfer and encourage cooperation in academic programmes.
Juan Cayón, Rector of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, and the President of the Spanish Branding Association (AEBRAND), Cristina Vicedo, have signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen links between the university and the sector, exchange experiences and promote training and knowledge management in branding.
"One of AEBRAND's main lines of action is to build bridges with universities and leading academic institutions in the education sector, such as UDIT, which are committed to generating synergies based on inter-institutional collaboration initiatives," says Cristina Vicedo. "This agreement will allow us to combine the knowledge and experience of both entities to develop innovative projects, as well as to offer UDIT students new training and professional development opportunities".
As reference entities, UDIT and AEBRAND join forces to promote specialised training in branding and consolidate brand culture as a strategic asset for business growth and competitiveness.
In the opinion of Juan Cayón, "the collaboration with AEBRAND will provide our students with a vast experience and knowledge in the field of branding, brand management and strategic communication. In addition, it will enable us to carry out joint dissemination and training activities in a key area for our Degrees in Multimedia and Graphic Design or in Advertising and Brand Creation or our Master's Degree in Graphic Design, among others.
This agreement establishes a joint working framework for the development of training and consultancy activities, and the promotion of research projects. Specifically, UDIT and AEBRAND will collaborate in:
- Cooperation in academic programmes.
- Carrying out research projects in the field of branding, design and innovation.
- Promotion and organisation of dissemination and training activities: conferences, seminars, courses and congresses.
