This figure allows and facilitates any complaint  process related to the rights and freedoms of students, teachers, administrative and service staff.

The value of this independent figure lies in being able to contribute to the improvement of relations and to develop a positive atmosphere in our day-to-day life at UDIT.

TheUniversity Ombudsman promotes cooperation and helps students' personal development by making recommendations or suggestions, which are never binding, for the resolution of the issues raised or for the improvement of quality.

It acts as a mediator to help in the resolution of conflicts, provided that this is accepted by the parties involved, and provides guidance on the actions to be taken before the different administrative bodies.

The actions of the University Ombudsman are not subject to the imperative mandate of any university body and aregoverned by the principles of independence and autonomy, impartiality, weighting and respect for confidentiality, as set out in the Law.
