DESIGN, VISUAL CULTURE AND GENDER GROUP

OBJECTIVES

The UDIT Research Group on Design, Visual Culture and Gender (Genius) belongs to the Digital Humanities and Social Sciences.

It is an interdisciplinary research group that establishes a link between different academic disciplines, the artistic, which is developed around design, incorporating innovation as a future factor for the advancement of scientific knowledge; and communication where the power of images in society is analysed. All of this is complemented with the gender variable as an element of equity and equality, covering various interdisciplinary fields and contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge through different academic disciplines.

The research team has amultidisciplinary profile made up of highly experienced researchers.Two competitive internal projects INC-UDIT-2025-PRO14, INC-UDIT-2025-PRO20 are currently being developed.
