Robotics Design, Interactive Technologies and Artificial Intelligence

Objectives

Bringing the use and enjoyment of social robots to the non-expert public from a multidisciplinary perspective in applications linked to the fields of health, care robotics, education and entertainment .

Interactive, intelligent and connected product design .

Research on natural interaction, its application to social robots, as well as to other fields that use interactive technologies including contemporary artistic expression.

  1. Design and Social Robotics as a main field of research in interactive systems and natural interaction .

  1. Interactive Systems and Multidisciplinary. Translation of robotic technologies to other technological fields: intelligent footwear, control systems for the creation of biomaterials, AI applied to medical studies, Interactive Art .

  1. Applied AI. Computer Vision. Application to the field of medical research. Application in Hybrid Sensor Systems, application to Transmedia environments .

  1. Real Time Systems Engineering for distributed systems. Implementation of solutions for interactive robotics and other multisensory systems.
