Which baccalaureate do you need to study Graphic Design?
If you want to start training in Graphic Design and become a multidisciplinary and creative designer, we tell you what baccalaureate you need to have studied to be able to access the Official Degree in Graphic Design and what it consists of.
Is it necessary to have previous specific training?
No, if you want to study the Degree in Graphic Design you can do it without having studied a specific baccalaureate, you must meet the entry requirements set out in art.3 of Royal Decree 412/2014, nor have prior knowledge on aspects such as Motion Graphics, web design, editorial design, UX or 3D design ... All our Bachelor's Degrees start from scratch, so it is not necessary to take a specific type of bachelor's degree that trains you in these areas.
Although it is true that, due to the type of degree, it is recommended to take a bachelor's degree in arts, you don't have to worry about your previous training to make the most of our degrees.
What will you learn in the Official Degree in Graphic Design?
The Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design at UDIT is an official 4-year degree, in which you will work through training based on learning by doing, in areas such as editorial design, digital design, branding, web design, art direction or advertising creativity, among others.
During the first year of your degree, you will work on projects that will help you understand the qualities of artistic, technical and digital drawing media and materials. The aim is to represent concepts, subjects, techniques and materials through work that demonstrates originality and innovation and triggers an emotional response.
During the second year, you will learn techniques to generate and express complex ideas using techniques, sketches and drawings in an effective and professional manner. You will be able to produce effective and imaginative graphic communications.
In Year 3, you will analyse advertising and media by understanding the factors that influence the choice and scheduling of advertising media. You will work with software applications to present graphic work in 2D and 3D animation and professional video.
The final course will be the final step for your insertion into the industry, learning how to develop complete design projects, multimedia applications and 3D design, as well as design, usability and coding in web languages.

What will you be able to do?
You will be able to work in four main areas: Graphic Design and Brand Creation, Digital Product Design, Audiovisual Creation and Advertising.
In the Graphic Design and Branding area, you will be able to work in positions such as branding design, packaging design, art direction and poster designer, among others.
In the area of Digital Product Design, you will be able to work in application design, web design and UX / UI design, among others.
In the area of Audiovisual Creation, you will be able to work in positions such as 3D virtual environment modelling, 3D animation, Motion Graphics Artist and audiovisual event designer, among others.
In the area of Advertising, you will be able to work as an art director and creative director, among others.
Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design at UDIT
