Is it necessary to have previous specific training?

No, if you want to study the Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Applied to Software Engineering you cando so without having studied a specific baccalaureate, you must meet the entry requirements set out in art.3 of Royal Decree 412/2014. However, the recommended entry profile is that of a student with a strong affinity for technology, an outstanding performance in mathematics and a strong interest in solving problems

Ideally, this would be a bachelor's degree in Science and Technology, with a special focus on subjects such as Mathematics and, if possible, having studied subjects related to Computer Science, Programming, Computing and Technology in general.

What will you learn in the Official Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science?

UDIT's Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science is an official 4-year degree, which will provide you with a complete and advanced training in Mathematics and Computer Science with the aim of solving real problems.

In the Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Applied to Software Engineering you will learn to use mathematics in an applied way in the creation of software. To do this, you will use methodologies and tools for the development of efficient, maintainable and quality algorithms and solutions that solve current problems in different areas of industry.

Studying this degree in mathematics will also allow you to design and mathematically analyse reference models on which to build applications, design intelligent systems, make predictions or automate processes, making you one of the most competitive and in-demand professional profiles today.

During the first year of your degree, you will acquire a solid foundation in programming, linear algebra, calculus and structured databases, while at the same time understanding the legal environment surrounding this technology.

During the second year, you'll delve deeper into programming, mathematical logic, equations and probability, strengthening your foundation in mathematical knowledge.

In the third year, you will acquire extensive knowledge of software engineering, programming and simulation. At the same time, you will come into contact with the industry by developing your professional internship in leading companies in the sector.
