The degree in Graphic Design is one of the most attractive options for those who wish to combine creativity with technology. In recent years, the demand for professionals specialising in Graphic Design has grown exponentially, but what do you study in a Degree in Graphic Design and Multimedia?

The Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design is one of the most complete programmes as it combines a solid artistic base with training in advanced digital and multimedia tools. 

During the four years of training in the Degree in Graphic Design and Multimedia at UDIT, you will work in five main areas:

  • Fundamentals of design and colour theory, essential to be able to develop an attractive and coherent visual aesthetic.
  • Typography and branding, you will have to know the key aspects for the creation of consistent and effective visual identities.
  • Digital tools and design software, you will master the professional programmes Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, among others. UDIT is an official certifying centre of Adobe Certified Professionals, so you will be able to certify in all the tools of the Adobe suite.
  • Multimedia and animation, you will be trained in 2D and 3D animation techniques and tools.
  • UX/UI Design, you will learn to design based on the concepts of user experience and graphic interface in the digital environment.

In the case of the Degree in Graphic Design and Multimedia at UDIT, during the first year of the degree, you will work on projects that will help you understand the qualities of artistic, technical and digital drawing media and materials. The aim is to represent concepts, subjects, techniques and materials through work that demonstrates originality and innovation and triggers an emotional response.

During the second year, you will learn techniques to generate and express complex ideas using techniques, sketches and drawings in an effective and professional manner. You will be able to produce effective and imaginative graphic communications.

In Year 3, you will analyse advertising and media by understanding the factors that influence the choice and scheduling of advertising media. You will work with software applications to present graphic work in 2D and 3D animation and professional video. 

The final course will be the final step for your insertion in the industry, learning how to elaborate complete design projects, multimedia applications and 3D design, as well as design, usability and coding in web languages.

You will be able to develop your talent and live unique experiences by participating in creative events, competitions and festivals such as Referentum Talks, Madrid Ilustrafest, Festival Selected, Revolumotion, etc.

Our university is a unique ecosystem that more than 70 graphic creation professionals visited last year. Designers of the stature of Daniel Rubio Arauna, from Arauna; Martín Azambuja, from Porto Rocha; Javier Torres, from Lizárraga Palau; have been able to talk first-hand with students about their professional experiences, as well as give their vision of the sector today.
