Dr. Industrial Engineer from the University of Navarra, with two six-year research periods and professor accredited by ANECA. Currently Vice-Rector of Research at UDIT, leading the creation of the research ecosystem of the institution. His academic and professional career has focused on the optimisation of mechanical and energy systems, with special interest in computational simulation, robotics and the development of sustainable solutions in engineering with more than 40 scientific publications, including 19 in high impact journals (Q1), his work has focused on both industry and academia, promoting knowledge transfer and technological innovation. With extensive teaching experience in engineering and R&D&I applied to industry, he has worked in companies such as PKMTricept SL and DANA Automoción S.A., driving innovations in the automotive sector and industrial automation. In academia, he has been principal investigator of the GREEN group at Nebrija University (2015-2022) and is currently part of the DESIRE group at UDIT, focused on sustainable functional design. He has directed multiple research projects, three doctoral theses and more than 50 bachelor's and master's degree final projects, promoting the training of new generations of engineers.
