With a PhD in Psychology from the University of La Laguna, she has more than a decade of experience in communication, working in areas such as marketing, advertising and research.
Her career includes roles as Marketing and Communication Manager in large technology companies, innovative startups and communication agencies. In addition, she was a reporter at Telemundo 39 (Dallas-Fort Worth) and winner of an EMMY award for the U-Project in collaboration with Univision and the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in 2016.
Her passion for the intersection between psychology, media and political communication has led her to focus her research on the psychological effects of uncivil communication in digital media, using neuroscience techniques to ascertain the impact on public perception and behaviour.
She has published in specialised journals and participated in international conferences such as AEJMC and IAMCR. Her teaching experience in national universities (UAB, ULL) and international universities (UTA), allows her to integrate an interdisciplinary approach that enriches his academic work and the training of his students.
