Come and visit us
Arrange a visit to our Madrid campus from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 18.00 hours, sign up for the Open Days we hold on Saturdays or the online information sessions.
Take the Entrance Exam
To assess your academic skills and make sure you are up to the challenge, you will take a placement test.
Formalise your enrolment
Once you have taken the test and have been informed of your admission to UDIT, you must book your enrolment to guarantee your place for the next course. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

If you come from the Spanish education system, to study this Degree at UDIT you must meet at least one of the following requirements:
- Having passed the University Entrance Examination (EVAU) with a pass mark.
- Students coming from a Higher Level Training Cycle or FP II.
- Students accessing from completed Spanish university studies.
- Students accessing through the University Entrance Examination for over 25 years old, for over 40 years old and for over 45 years old.
Students coming from educational systems outside Spain:
- Students from pre-university education systems of European Union member states and countries with reciprocity agreements.
- Students in possession of the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
- Students from foreign pre-university education systems.
- Students with foreign university studies who gain access through homologation of their studies.
- Students with official foreign university studies completed or not yet completed who are admitted by official validation.
During the Degree in Audiovisual Design and Illustration at UDIT, you will acquire a solid command of the main programmes used in the creative industry. You will learn to handle professional tools that will allow you to develop projects from start to finish, from visual conceptualisation to final production.
Graphic and editorial design
- Adobe Photoshop: for photo retouching, digital illustration and image composition.
- Adobe Illustrator: for vector illustration, logo design and scalable graphics.
- Adobe InDesign: for editorial layout, magazine, book and catalogue design.
Technical and spatial design
- AutoCAD: for technical drawing, design of spaces and structures in 2D and 3D.
Audiovisual production
- Adobe Premiere Pro: for professional video editing, narrative editing and basic effects.
- Adobe After Effects: for animation, motion graphics and advanced visual effects.
- Sound editing software (such as Adobe Audition or similar): to work on the audio of your audiovisual pieces with professional quality.
These tools are integrated into real projects from the first course, allowing you to develop a technical and creative portfolio aligned with the demands of the sector.
Yes, all degrees offered at UDIT are official and internationally recognised.
You should be careful with other degrees offered on the market as "Official Degrees" that in reality are not. To check if a degree is official, you should consult the website of the RUCT (Registro de Universidades, Centros y Títulos), an official body belonging to the Ministry of Universities that oversees academic organisation and university officialdom.
The first step is to request information, you can do this via the web, by telephone on 91 555 25 28 or by email: orientación.universitaria@udit.es.
The next step is to take the level test, the aim of which is to find out the student's academic competences, allowing you to detect reinforcement actions before the start of the course.
Once you have taken the test and have been informed that you have been admitted to UDIT, make a registration reservation to guarantee your place for the next course. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you want to study the Degree in Audiovisual Design and Illustration you can do sowithout having to have taken a specific baccalaureate, you must meet the entry requirements set out in art.3 of Royal Decree 412/2014, nor have prior knowledge of aspects such as motion graphics, lettering, typography, posters... All our degrees start from scratch, so it is not necessary to take a specific type of baccalaureate that trains you in these areas.
Although it is true that, due to the type of degree, it is recommended to take a bachelor's degree in the arts, you do not need to worry about your previous training in order to make the most of our degrees.
What baccalaureate do you need to study Audiovisual Design and Illustration?
Audiovisual design is a discipline that encompasses multiple facets of the creation and production of visual and sound content. At UDIT, our students learn to:
- Conceptualise and develop audiovisual projects: from the initial idea to the final production.
- Use state-of-the-art tools: Video editing software, animation, graphic design and special effects.
- Develop technical and artistic skills: In areas such as cinematography, art direction, sound design and digital illustration.
- Working in teams and managing projects: Preparing them for collaboration in studios and companies in the audiovisual sector.
- Innovate and experiment: With new techniques and formats, always with a practical and industry-oriented approach.
UDIT does not require a cut-off mark for admission to university degrees. However, due to the specificity of these degrees, potential students must take their own specific admission tests.
The Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Design and Illustration lasts four years. During this time, students complete a curriculum that includes:
- Theoretical and practical training: To develop a solid knowledge base in design and audiovisual production.
- Integrative projects: To apply what they have learnt in real situations.
- Professional internships: In leading companies in the sector, to gain experience and establish contacts in the industry.
- Final Degree Project: A personal project that demonstrates the student's ability to develop and manage a complete audiovisual design and illustration project.
All our degrees start from scratch, so it is not necessary to take a specific type of baccalaureate.
It is true that due to the type of our degrees, it is usually recommended to take a baccalaureate in arts or science and technology.
The purpose of the entrance exam is to get to know the profile of the future student in order to be able to offer you personalised attention and, if necessary, to reinforce any previous skills, such as artistic drawing.
In no case should you be concerned about your previous training when it comes to getting the most out of our degree courses.
Adobe programmes are installed on the computers set up for this purpose in the classrooms. From the 2025-26 academic year, all UDIT students will have an Adobe Creative Cloud licence that they can use on any device, inside or outside the University.
Of course, by offering you an official Bachelor's degree, you can apply for all the public grants for this type of degree.
