Renato Seixas

Director of the Master’s Degree in Illustration (UDIT). PhD candidate in Humanities and Communication at the University of Burgos (UBU), with a Master’s Degree in Illustration from the University of Design, Innovation and Technology (UDIT) and a degree in Visual Communication Design from the School of Arts and Design of Porto (ESAD). He has extensive experience as a creative professional and graphic designer, developing projects for national and international clients such as Inditex, Telefónica, MAPFRE and the Mariemma Royal Professional Conservatory of Dance, among others. His work combines graphic, editorial and sound design with motion graphics, integrating different layers that enhance the experience, impact and innovation of each project.

Alongside his professional practice, he combines design and teaching from an expanded-practice perspective, focused on experimental and collaborative methodologies. His academic work explores the intersection between graphic design and contemporary visual culture. He teaches subjects in UDIT’s Department of Audiovisual Communication and Graphic Creation, where he also actively participates in ERASMUS+ projects in collaboration with international institutions.
