UDIT's Master's Degree in User Experience (UX) is an official programme, designed in collaboration with Telefónica I+D, which is now in its 10th edition. Its 100% face-to-face training is taught in one of Spain's leading design and technology centres.

UDIT's Master's Degree in User Experience Design for the Design of Digital Products and Services is designed to train professionals capable of leading digital projects from an integral perspective, combining creativity, technology and strategic vision. Unlike other programmes focused solely on theory or technique, this master's degree offers an immersive face-to-face experience, focused on solving real challenges in contemporary professional contexts.

Comprehensive training in User Experience Design (UX)

Our programme addresses all the key areas of UX design, preparing you to develop digital products and services that respond to real user needs, with functional, emotional and strategic impact.

Design methodologies: learn to conceptualise and develop solutions through user-centred approaches, applying methodologies such as Design Thinking, Lean UX and Agile.

Tools and prototyping: master prototyping, interaction design and testing tools, from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes with Figma, Adobe XD, or collaborative tools.

Research and usability: design intuitive and accessible digital experiences, applying qualitative and quantitative research techniques, user testing and heuristic evaluation.

Project and team management: acquire skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate with technical and business profiles, and lead design throughout the product lifecycle.

Syllabus

The UDIT Master's Degree in User Experience (UX) consists of 60 ECTS credits and lasts one academic year.


Throughout the master's degree, you will acquire the necessary skills to design user-centred digital experiences, combining research, strategy, visual design and usability.


This programme will allow you to work with current methodologies such as Design Thinking, Lean UX and Agile, apply prototyping and testing tools, and develop functional, accessible and innovative digital products. You will also gain a global vision of the UX/UI process, from conceptualisation to final validation with real users.

  • Today, new forms of production lack specialised and qualified professionals, so this master's degree provides the opportunity to adapt previous knowledge, creative skills and personal concerns to this growing demand throughout the world that has been neglected by higher education.

  • In our Master in User Experience, you will learn how to design intuitive and user-centred interfaces. The programme covers:

    User research: techniques for understanding user needs and behaviours.

    Interaction design: creating interfaces that facilitate the navigation and efficient use of digital products.

    Prototyping and usability testing: development of prototypes and evaluation of their effectiveness with real users.

    Information architecture: organisation and structure of content to improve accessibility and comprehension.

    Visual and graphic design: principles of aesthetic design applied to digital interfaces.

    Agile methodologies: implementation of agile processes for the development of UX projects.

  • To be a successful UX designer, it is essential to have the following characteristics:

    1. Empathy: ability to understand and anticipate user needs and emotions.
    2. Creativity: ability to find innovative and effective solutions to design problems.
    3. Communication: skills in expressing ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively.
    4. Critical thinking: detailed analysis of problems and evaluation of possible solutions.
    5. Collaboration: ability to work as part of a team and coordinate with different areas of the company.
    6. Technical knowledge: familiarity with design and development tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD and basic principles of HTML and CSS.


  • The Master's Degree lasts 1 year. From October to July, 60 ECTS.



  • The Master is of particular interest to designers of any speciality, architects, specialists in marketing, communication and business intelligence, researchers in user and consumer experience and behaviour, sociologists, psychologists, industrial engineers and computer scientists.


  • A user experience (UX) specialist is a professional dedicated to improving user interaction with digital products and services through different design methodologies applied to the user experience of the product or service. Their work is very varied and they can specialise in analysis, conceptualisation or execution.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Research and analysis of user needs and behaviours.
    • Designing interfaces that are functional, intuitive and attractive.
    • Usability testing to identify and solve interaction problems.
    • Collaboration with other departments such as development, marketing and product to ensure a consistent and optimised experience.

  • There is currently a great demand for specialists in User Experience and Usability. On the one hand, the rise of apps and digital businesses has demanded these profiles, which are key in the development of platforms. On the other hand, traditional businesses have begun a process of transformation focused on the consumer. UX processes are necessary in any customer experience, both physical and digital.

  • Yes, this Master can be subsidised by FUNDAE. Check with our admissions department for all the details. FUNDAE is a public company that manages the funds destined to the training programmed by the companies that will be able to make effective by means of bonuses in their contributions to the Social Security. They favour the access, by means of subsidies, to free and quality training for all workers.

  • Adobe programmes are installed on the computers set up for this purpose in the classrooms. From the 2025-26 academic year, all UDIT students will have an Adobe Creative Cloud licence that they can use on any device, inside or outside the University.

Our offer of our own degrees and continuing education is regulated by article 37 of Royal Decree 822/2021.

Successful completion of these studies leads to the award of a UDIT Master's Degree in Lifelong Learning with 60 ECTS.
