Marta Pérez is a UX researcher at Amazon and a lecturer in UX Research and Innovation at UDIT Madrid, where she has been training the next generation of UX professionals for more than 9 years.

She holds a PhD in Design-Driven Innovation from Birmingham City University and an Executive MBA from EAE Business School. Her academic contributions include international publications on virtual assistants, the adoption of voice interaction, and new models for idea-generation processes in the early stages of innovation.

With over 14 years of industry experience, she specialises in qualitative research for AI-driven products. At Amazon, she leads multidisciplinary research initiatives in collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams. Previously, she created and led the UX Research team for Telefónica’s AI virtual assistant, Aura, directing multinational research projects across the Movistar, O2, and Vivo brands. Earlier in her career, she worked as a strategic design researcher with Procter & Gamble and BSkyB.
