From Valladolid to Paris: the design talent preparing to work for Pierre Cardin

With only a few years of training behind her, Blanca de Bonrostro from Valladolid is already emerging as one of the most promising young Spanish fashion designers. A student of the Degree in Fashion Design at the University of Design, Innovation and Technology (UDIT), she has just won the prestigious Pierre Cardin Young Designers Award, sharing the prize with Lola Fuller (France) and Isabel Matic (Germany). The jury's decision was announced on 4 October in Athens, in a ceremony presided over by Rodrigo Basilicati-Cardin, president of the firm.
