Official Bachelor's Degree in Digital Art and Visual Creation of Video Games and Interactive Environments

Can you imagine being able to design the worlds and characters that make a video game unique?

At UDIT we offer you the new Degree in Digital Art and Visual Creation for Video Games and Interactive Environments, designed for those who want to train as digital artists in the interactive entertainment industry.

You will learn to create all the visual art that brings a video game to life, from the first sketch to its final integration: character design, environments and interfaces, sculpture and 3D modelling, textures, animation, visual effects and art direction. All with a practical and creative approach.

In addition, you will work from day one with advanced tools used in the professional world such as Photoshop, ZBrush, Blender, Unreal, Unity, Substance, among others.

Now, in addition, the Videogames area at UDIT has been redesigned so that you can share the first year with the Degree in Design and Development. This way, you will learn the whole process and you will be able to choose your path and, if you wish, specialise with an official double degree in five years.

Last places remaining! 4 places left. Check availability with the UDIT Admissions Team.

OVERVIEW

Behind every great video game are artists who create the worlds, characters, and visual identities that stay with millions of players. Today, Spain's video game industry generates over2.4 billion euros in annual revenue and continues to grow, driving demand for creative talent capable of shaping the next generation of interactive experiences. If you've spent years imagining worlds, sketching characters, or dreaming of seeing your ideas come to life in a game, UDIT is where you can turn that passion into your profession.

At UDIT, you'll learn to create game art the way it's done in a professional studio, from art direction and gameplay-driven concept art to 3D modeling, digital sculpting, lighting, and asset creation optimized for real-time engines such as Unreal Engine and Unity. You'll develop a highly specialized artistic profile for interactive media while mastering industry-standard tools like ZBrush and working on multidisciplinary projects that combine art, design, and technology from day one.

As Spain's first official university to specialize in video games, we've developed this degree in close collaboration with the industry to reflect the way professional studios actually work. You'll be taught by active game artists and industry professionals currently shaping today's leading titles, while gaining your first professional experience through internships with companies such as Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, PlayStation, Nintendo, and Tequila Works. Along the way, you'll take part in game jams, creative competitions, and real-world projects within a cutting-edge environment that mirrors the day-to-day workflow of a professional game studio.
