From Venice to New York: Migrant Housing, the Interior Design students' project, is exhibited at the School of Visual Arts Flatiron Gallery.
This exhibition space houses a total of 56 models designed by UDIT and SVA students.
The exhibition space Migrant Housing, which brings together the work of more than 60 students from the Bachelor in Interior Design and the Degree in Interior Design at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, together with that of their counterparts from the prestigious School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York, moves from the Venice Architecture Biennale to the Big Apple .
After having been installed at Palazzo Brembo from May until November 23, the project travels to New York City, specifically to the SVA Flatiron Gallery (133/141 West 21st Street), where it will be on display from December 3 to January 6.
Migrant Housing brings together a total of 56 models designed by UDIT and SVA students under the premise of 'water as a means of healing'. Thus, from a common briefing and giving importance to the recycling of water and the inclusion of reuse methods, diverse and unique interpretations of this slogan that encompasses the entire proposal emerge .
Among these 56 models, one can find more minimalist proposals and others that play with curved lines, decorative elements, geometric shapes... An exhibition space in which, in addition to the talent of the students of UDIT and SVA, the wide range of visions and interpretations of the same enriching challenge stands out .
The exhibition can be visited until 6 January at the SVA Flatiron Gallery (133/141 West 21st Street).
