UDIT University Campus receives visit from Pratt Institute
With the intention of continuing to expand and improve its international relations and collaborations with top-level institutions, the University Campus of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology has received a visit from María José Soares, Director of Study Abroad and International Partnerships at Pratt Institute and Joseph Hemingway, VP for Information Technology and CIO.
During this visit, in which Verónica Meléndez, Director of International Relations and Programmes and Institutional Accreditation, participated on behalf of UDIT, they were able to see the most innovative facilities and equipment of the University Campus as well as the results of the latest work developed by the students, at the same time as the activities that will be developed in the coming weeks with the visit of UDIT to Pratt Institute were specified.
In addition, the representatives of both institutions were able to share ideas, plans and trends, as well as talk about the impact of new technologies on universities and share impressions regarding the challenges of internationalisation and design education in Spain and the USA.
The collaboration agreement between UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology and Pratt Institute has been in place for several years and, as a result of the good relationship between the two institutions, they are working to generate new synergies and projects with which to forge new fundamental links for future joint plans.
Pratt Institute is a university institution whose main campus is located in Brooklyn, New York. It also has a satellite campus in Manhattan and an extension in Utica, New York. The school originated in 1887 with programmes primarily in engineering, architecture and fine arts and comprises a total of six schools.
