King Felipe VI inaugurates the University Academic Year 2024/2025 in Zaragoza with a ceremony in which the Rector of UDIT participates.
King Felipe VI presided over the official inauguration of the University Academic Year 2024/2025 of Spanish universities, in a ceremony held at the University of Zaragoza, which is celebrating its 550th anniversary this academic year.
For his part, the Rector of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, Dr. Juan Cayón, participated in this event along with 39 other rectors of Spanish universities, in which King Felipe VI has advocated for an agile and inclusive University that takes advantage of the maximum potential of its teachers, researchers and students and that becomes a bridge towards the achievement of quality jobs and the development of innovative solutions for the ecological and digital transitions to be successful.
On his arrival at the event, the monarch was welcomed by the Rector of the University of Zaragoza, José Antonio Mayoral; Jorge Azcón, President of the Government of Aragon; Diana Morant, Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities; Pilar Alegría, Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Sports and Eva Alcó, President of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE).
