UDIT students and faculty participate in the Erasmus+ BIP "Innovation and Technology in Smart Business" programme in Tallinn (Estonia).
This participation reinforces the collaboration between the research group Innovation and Technology from and for Education, Culture and Society (ECSIT) and the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (EUAS), in Estonia, which began in 2024, with the visit of two professors and several students to that university.
A UDIT team, composed of two students and a professor, participated in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) "Innovation and Technology in Smart Business" at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Science, in Tallinn, from 13 to 17 October 2025.
The Blended Intensive Programs (BIP) are short and intensive trainings promoted by the Erasmus+ programme, which promote collaborative work between students and faculty from different European universities. During one week, participants develop joint projects focused on innovation and the practical application of knowledge in international contexts.
This participation is a continuation of the ECSIT group's collaboration with EUAS. As part of this co-operation, in November UDIT will host students from Estonia and Belgium in a BIP organised by ECSIT, called "Creativity in a Digital World", which will extend the exchange of teaching and research experiences around creativity and digital technology.
The work through the BIPs allows ECSIT to continue research on teaching innovation in innovative design and technology degrees.
