This reuse of one of the most abundant wastes in the region and the sustainable approach of the proposal, together with the Andalusian inspiration behind the fans, has captured the attention of the media, who have not only shared information about the project, but have also had the direct testimony of the students, who have been able to detail the process of research and creation of the material, as well as their next steps .
Europa Press, Canal Sur and Canal Sur Radio, RTVE, Telecinco, Cadena Ser, COPE, La Vanguardia or La Razón are just some of the media that have echoed the 'Feel the Peel' project, on which the students continue to work, with the aim not only to market the existing fan, but also to study other applications for this innovative material.
UDIT collaborates with Smartincircles in the Biodesign Challenge, led by its director, Sandra Martín Simón, academic head of the programme.
