Furor Botánico: Meeting between illustrator Laura Agustí and editor Lola Martínez de Albornoz

Last Thursday 27 March at 15:45, the Auditorium of the Campus of Design and Creative Industries of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, hosted the meeting between the illustrator Laura Agustí and the editor of her book, Lola Martínez de Albornoz.

In this session, organised by the Department of Audiovisual and Graphic Creation of the University, illustrator and editor had the opportunity to talk about the work of Laura Agustí, as well as about her creative process.

The illustrator Laura Agustí has a degree in Fine Arts and a Higher Technician in Projects and Management of Decoration Works. After several years dedicated to painting, her work focuses, almost exclusively, on illustration and she has exhibited individually and collectively, as well as curating an exhibition with the participation of fifty artists.

In May 2018 he published his first illustrated book, Gatos en la cabeza, and has produced covers for several publishers, as well as participated in collective books for Penguin Random House, Savana Books, Valparaíso Ediciones and Errata Naturae. For Lumen he has published Historia de un gato ( 2022) and Furor botánico ( 2025), and has illustrated Cómo domesticar a un humano, by the Italian Babas (2023).
