GITDCom leads workshop on Digital Transformation with startups from the RETECH nodes of the Madrid Region
The session strengthened the strategic communication and digital maturity skills of entrepreneurs from the Greentech, Health and Aerospace nodes.
Dr. Bárbara Castillo Abdul, principal investigator of the Research Group on Innovation and Digital Transformation of Communication (GITDCom) of the University of Design, Innovation and Technology (UDIT), led two training workshops in the framework of the RETECH programme of the Community of Madrid, accompanying the startups of the Greentech, Health and Aerospace nodes.
The 360° Digital Business Transformation workshop allowed participants to analyse their level of digital maturity and identify technological opportunities to design their roadmap towards innovation.
The activity, held in a hybrid format from the Greentech Node, brought together entrepreneurs from sectors as diverse as sustainable energy, digital health, biotechnology and aerospace. Startups such as Zoometrics, Plato Limpio, Biotasmart, Inrobics, Cedrion or Drone Silencer, among others, actively participated in the creation of purposeful digital proposals.
During the session it was highlighted that "effective communication can make the difference between the success and failure of a startup" and that "digital transformation is a continuous journey that integrates technology, people and purpose".
The collaboration between the Community of Madrid and UDIT reflects the university's commitment to knowledge transfer, applied innovation and boosting the digital competitiveness of the regional entrepreneurial fabric, through the work of the GITDCom group.
