The Campus of Design and Creative Industries of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, hosted last Thursday 13, Friday 14 and Saturday 15 April the Illustration Fair IlustraFest23, curated by Inmaculada Corcho Gómez, Director of the ABC Museum of Drawing and Illustration and Javier Chavarría, Director of the Master's Degree in Illustration at UDIT.

The exhibition included a tour of some of the most outstanding works from the career of the renowned illustrator Javier de Juan, one of the great creators of the Movida Madrileña, as well as a total of 24 stands where the work of more than 30 illustrators such as Jorge Arévalo, Víctor Coyote, Toño Benavides, David Despau, Urban Sketchers, Iván Araújo, Alberto Hoyos and Cristina Valencia could be admired and purchased.

In addition, within the calendar of activities of IlustraFest23, there were also talks, workshops, round tables, book sales..., as well as a tribute to the career of the illustrator and creator Javier de Juan.

1.30 p.m.: Session with Adriana Bermúdez: "The ABC of Collage".

4 p.m.: Session with Carlos Yuste: "Working under concepts".

4.30 p.m.: Session with Urban Sketchers

12.30 p.m.: Round table presentation of the book Capas en el Tiempo, lo que cuentan los Collages with the graphic designer Emilio Gil; Marcelo Ghio, Director of Experimenta and the graphic designer Chema Ribagorda.

4pm: Round table with APIM: "Together we are stronger". Albertoyos, Rocío La Pequeña, Cris Valencia, Marina Speer, Tania Izquierdo and Juan José Colsa.
