Javier Sanz, Expert Jury at the IV Edition of the CarDesign.es Awards

Javier Sanz, Director of the Department of Product Design and User Experience at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, has served as a member of the prestigious jury at the fourth edition of the CarDesign.es Awards, the only automotive design awards given in Spanish, offering an unrivalled platform for automotive brands to stand out and be recognised for their innovation and creativity. 

The ceremony, held at the Cantoblanco Shooting Club in Madrid on 16 October, brought together more than 200 automotive, technology and communication professionals. Alongside Javier Sanz, the awards jury was made up of designers with extensive careers in brands such as McLaren, Alfa Romeo, Audi and SEAT. 

The process of selecting the winners involved the automotive brands for more than four months, during which they presented their vehicles and technological solutions in ten different categories. 

"Being part of this jury is a recognition of UDIT's vision: it shows that product design is not a discipline separate from technology, but its driving force," says Javier Sanz .

The awards honoured a total of ten models and technological solutions, highlighting the leadership of brands such as Dolby, Maserati, McLaren, Automobili Pininfarina, Renault, CUPRA, Aston Martin and Alpine, as well as special recognition for Omoda & Jaecoo. 

With the fourth edition of the CarDesign.es Awards, a benchmark event in the Spanish automotive industry has been consolidated, recognising not only the beauty of the cars, but also the talent and effort of those who bring these masterpieces on wheels to life.
