Juan Cayón, Rector of UDIT, participates in the Solemn Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year of the Universities of Madrid 2023/2024
The Campus of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid hosted the Solemn Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year of the universities of Madrid 2023/2024, in which the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, together with Emilio Viciana Duro, Regional Minister of Education, Science and Universities of the Community of Madrid, took part.
Dr. Juan Cayón, Rector Magnificent of UDIT, University of Design and Technology, attended this event in which the President Isabel Díaz Ayuso spoke about the future Law of Universities of the Autonomous Region, as well as about the extension of university grants for students.
The event was also attended by the rectors Joaquín Goyache (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), Amaya Mendikotxea (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid), José Vicente Saz (Universidad de Alcalá), Ángel Arias (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid), Javier Ramos (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos), Ricardo Mairal (UNED, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia), Enrique Sanz (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas), Daniel Sada (Universidad Francisco de Vitoria), Ramón Arilla (ESIC Universidad), José María Ortiz (Universidad Villanueva), Segundo Píriz (UNIE, Universidad Internacional de la Empresa), Rosa Visiedo (Universidad San Pablo CEU), Concepción Burgos (UDIMA, Universidad a Distancia de Madrid) and the vice-rector for Quality at Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio, Cristina Peláez.
