Film director Blanca Bonet, appointed new Director of the Animation Degree at UDIT

The Animation and Video Games Area of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, has lived 2025 marked by initiatives that focus on student talent and connect academic training with the industry. Through professional fairs, their own competitions and participation in national and international festivals, students and alumni have demonstrated their creative, technical and narrative skills in projects with a high professional level. 

The students of the Degree in Animation know what it is like to see their work recognised, not only by teachers and classmates, but also in the main festivals of the film and animation industry, both nationally and internationally. 

On 22 and 28 October, the Degree in Animation at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, organised two high-value sessions for students, a portfolio reading and a project presentation session, which were attended by renowned professionals from the sector. 

On Tuesday 21 October, the Auditorium of the Design and Creative Industries Campus of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, hosted the presentation of the new book by the prestigious animator and teacher Ángela Iturriza . 

UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, is actively participating in the First Edition of the San Diego Comic Con in Malaga, which is also the first European edition of this legendary convention aimed primarily at lovers of comics and the world of entertainment.

María Ángela Iturriza joins the teaching team of the Degree in Animation at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, for the new academic year 2025-2026 . 

Last Tuesday 8th July, a group of more than 20 students from the Animation Degree at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology had the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive screening of 'The Bad Guys 2', organised by Universal Pictures International Spain.
