Film director Blanca Bonet, appointed new Director of the Animation Degree at UDIT

On 22 and 28 October, the Degree in Animation at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, organised two high-value sessions for students, a portfolio reading and a project presentation session, which were attended by renowned professionals from the sector. 

On Tuesday 21 October, the Auditorium of the Design and Creative Industries Campus of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, hosted the presentation of the new book by the prestigious animator and teacher Ángela Iturriza . 

UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, is actively participating in the First Edition of the San Diego Comic Con in Malaga, which is also the first European edition of this legendary convention aimed primarily at lovers of comics and the world of entertainment.

María Ángela Iturriza joins the teaching team of the Degree in Animation at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, for the new academic year 2025-2026 . 

Last Tuesday 8th July, a group of more than 20 students from the Animation Degree at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology had the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive screening of 'The Bad Guys 2', organised by Universal Pictures International Spain.

The animation industry is experiencing exponential growth within the audiovisual entertainment market. Its presence in multiple segments of the sector generates a high demand for specialised professionals. As a result, it attracts the interest of many young creatives seeking solid training to develop and enhance their talent.

UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology has celebrated the first edition of ANIMAFEST UDIT, the animation contest created with the aim of becoming a professional springboard for students' work, as well as a meeting point for the industry in Madrid.
