The students of the final year of the Degree in Fashion Design at UDIT presented Lo Fugaz, their proposals for the upcoming Spring-Summer 2024 season, as part of the 78th edition of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid catwalk.

A memorable fashion show that was also harmonised by the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía, which participated with a string quartet that illustrated the proposals presented by the young fashion designers of UDIT with music from the Impressionist period.

From Barber to Ravel, passing through Toldrá, Debussy or Massenet, the guests at the fashion show were able to enjoy a magnificent performance by the musicians of the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía.

An international reference centre for the teaching of young musicians

The Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía was created with the aim of becoming an international reference centre for the teaching of young musicians and to facilitate the development of their individual talent.

Its educational project is based on several pillars that make it a unique initiative in the academic field: a teaching staff of the highest level, with masters in each of its instruments and figures of great international prestige; merit as the sole criterion, since the selection of the School's students is carried out through a process of auditions, directed by professors in each chair; and artistic experience, since the students' learning on stage is an essential part of the School's academic ideology.
