The meeting addressed the intersection between artificial intelligence and cultural heritage, innovation axes of the PLATA project.

On 23 and 24 October 2025, the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) organised the XII International Seminar on Cultural Management, a space for analysis of the intersection between artificial intelligence and cultural heritage.

The PLATA project of the Technology and Innovation for Education, Culture and Society (ECSIT) group of the University of Design, Innovation and Technology (UDIT) promotes the ethical and didactic use of artificial intelligence in cultural heritage.

The ECSIT group was invited to participate by the UNAH and the Cultural Centre of Spain in Tegucigalpa, following the publication of articles on the impact of the PLATA project in the journal Street Art and Urban Creativity. This conference has allowed to further disseminate the project and its results.

The current objective of the PLATA project is the creation of an ethical artificial intelligence agent, with didactic objectives and trained with cultural primary sources, which allows the correct use of AI in educational environments.
