Masterclass by Marta Garrote: Inaugural Session of the new edition of the Master's Degree in Product Design

Last Monday 7th October, the Auditorium of the Campus of Design and Creative Industries of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, was visited by the designer Marta Garrote, who gave a session on the occasion of the inauguration of a new edition of the Master's Degree in Product Design.
In this session, Marta Garrote spoke about her professional experience and her evolution from engineering to design specialising in UX, through the understanding and incorporation of product design in her professional activity. She emphasised her speech on how she managed to bring together the different design disciplines and used the experience gained from her time as a student at UDIT to make the leap into the professional world.
Marta Garrote, who currently works as a product designer at FROG, is a designer who approaches her practice from a holistic end-to-end approach, emphasising research, conceptualisation and communication.
Marta has a strong background in product, graphic and engineering design and believes that good design is design that communicates effectively with both users and stakeholders. Her expertise covers UX Design, UX Research and Service Design, which, together with her interest in data analysis, allows her to combine quantitative and qualitative insights with a user-centric vision to guide business decision making.
