Masterclass by Sara Baliña. The future ahead: Mega trends and priorities

Next Monday 22 January at 18:30, the Campus of Design and Creative Industries of UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, will receive the visit of Sara Baliña, Deputy Director of the National Office of Foresight and Strategy of the Government of Spain, who will give a masterclass and a workshop aimed at students of the Official University Master's Degree in User Experience. The lecture will be part of a series of talks that will address current issues in which design can contribute significant value.

The session, which will be held in the Multipurpose Space of the building located in Colombia Street, will deal with the areas addressed by the Government of Spain, such as the global environment and the geopolitical context, demographic ageing and new homes, technological transformation and new forms of work, ecological transition and new modes of production and consumption, as well as urbanisation and unequal distribution of the population in the territory.

Economist and Director of the National Office of Foresight and Strategy of the Presidency of the Government, Sara Baliña was previously managing partner of the Economic and Market Analysis area of the Afi Group and worked as a senior economist in the Global Scenarios and Macroeconomic Risks unit of BBVA Research.
