- Date11 February 2026
- Schedule17:00
On 11 February at 17:00, the UDIT Campus of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences will be visited by Nacho Martín, who will present his book "Mega: the seven wonders of the digital world (Walden Books, 2025)", a techno-optimistic and critical reflection on the great cultural manifestations of the digital era.
Through examples ranging from architecture and videogames to cinema and music, the author proposes a reading of the present in which new digital "wonders" emerge (pixel domes, cybernetic palaces or massive virtual rituals) that invite us to rethink key issues such as artificial intelligence, relations with virtual identities, disinformation or the creation of remote communities.
PhD Architect and Design Director at Accenture Song, Nacho Martín has been leading projects since 2018 that explore the convergence between the digital and the physical through the design of hybrid spaces and experiences. His work focuses on investigating how technology is transforming the way we live, work and relate to our environment.
Throughout his career he has been director of the IED Innovation Lab, co-founder of Mi5 Architects and Mi5VR, and lecturer at leading institutions such as the Architectural Association in London and the University of Alcalá. His work has been awarded, exhibited and published internationally, consolidating him as one of the most relevant voices in the field of contemporary design and digital culture.
