UDIT's Official Master's Degree in Graphic Design, also available online, is a transversal and professionalising programme that prepares you to become a creative, versatile and strategic designer. It is aimed at optimising your portfolio - the real key to achieving excellence and maximising your employability - while complementing and reorienting the knowledge from your degree with the strategic competencies demanded by graphic design today.
With a practical and multidisciplinary approach, you will work as you would in real studios and agencies, in collaboration with designers, creatives, developers and industry experts. You will be able to tackle design projects in branding, editorial design, packaging and visual communication.
You will learn to conceptualise and develop visual identities, digital interfaces, editorial pieces and audiovisual content, using state-of-the-art tools and current methodologies. All of this in a demanding, collaborative environment that is fully connected to the needs of the market.

The faculty of the Official Master in Graphic Design 25/26 is made up of highly qualified teachers, including several PhDs, three of them accredited and two programme directors or former directors, while half of the teachers also teach in other UDIT degrees.
In addition, 11 of the 14 lecturers combine teaching with recognised professional expertise, ensuring practical, up-to-date and connected teaching. They pass on to students the professional tools they use on a daily basis, with more than 10 years of experience, guaranteeing a training aligned with the latest trends in the sector.

Syllabus
UDIT has designed a syllabus that is fully aligned with the current demands of the graphic design sector.
To access the Master, it is necessary to have a previous level in digital and audiovisual techniques and tools (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and AdobeInDesign).
During the interview with the Master's management, your mastery of these tools will be assessed and, if necessary, you will be recommended two training complements that you must take before the start of classes.

The UDIT Master's Degree in Graphic Design is an official and professionalising master's degree that will allow you to deepen or reorient your career towards Graphic Design. With an innovative curriculum and a holistic and transversal perspective, you will be trained in the four disciplines that are currently most in demand: branding, packaging design, audiovisual design and UX/UI design. In addition, you will develop a solid foundation in editorial design, considered by experts to be the essential foundation for any graphic design specialisation.

The master's degree is recommended for creative graduates with a graphic or project-based component and different backgrounds (such as general design, product design, fashion, interior design, animation, video games, digital art, interactive products, architecture, fine arts, audiovisual communication or advertising).
It is also aimed at graduates from other disciplines who, with previous related training, sufficient command of the necessary tools and a strong vocation, seek to become professionals in graphic design. This master's degree allows you to achieve a level of competence and a portfolio comparable to that of a graduate of our official degrees in design.
The duration of the Master in Graphic Design at UDIT is approximately one academic year. It is a programme strategically designed to be fundamentally practical and oriented towards building a solid professional portfolio. Throughout the course, you will work on at least seven notable projects: one for each of the five specialised workshops, plus the Visual Culture course and the Master's Thesis.
In addition, you will participate in:

- Professional internships: real work experience in companies collaborating with UDIT.
Yes, internships are guaranteed. In the second term of the Master's Degree, students will apply the knowledge they have learnt in leading companies in the sector.

If you do not have the necessary prior knowledge for the development of the Master's Degree in Graphic Design, you will have to take one of the following 6 ECTS training complements, depending on your academic profile:
1. Graphic Applications - 6 ECTS
You will learn and apply the functionalities of vector design with Adobe Illustrator, image retouching and transformation with Adobe Photoshop, and text editing and layout with Adobe InDesign.2. Digital and Audiovisual Applications - 6 ECTS
You will acquire skills in prototyping and interface design with Figma, and you will learn how to use Adobe Premiere or Adobe Audition, as well as key tools for audiovisual and digital content creation.The academic authorities, given the official nature of the programme, make it compulsory to take complementary courses depending on certain entrance qualifications. However, it will be the director of the master's degree who, after assessing your profile, will determine whether it is necessary to take any of these complements.
The market currently demands versatile designers capable of tackling complex design projects that require the knowledge and use of any technique and multimedia support.
In addition, market trends and the needs of companies have made brand value and branding, 360º advertising and UX/UI design (among others) become a fundamental aspect of their activity, growing in importance in the structures of large organisations.
Yes, this Master can be subsidised by FUNDAE. Check with our admissions department for all the details. FUNDAE is a public company that manages the funds destined to the training programmed by the companies that will be able to make effective by means of bonuses in their contributions to the Social Security. They favour the access, by means of subsidies, to free and quality training for all workers.
Yes, from the 2025-26 academic year, all UDIT students will have a full Adobe Creative Cloud licence, which they will be able to use on any device, both inside and outside the university. In addition, Adobe programmes are installed on classroom computers to guarantee fluid access during the training sessions.
In the Master in Graphic Design you will have the opportunity to carry out several projects, we give you the example of Malena Fernández, alumni of the Master in Graphic Design at UDIT, in which she tells us about her experience doing her TFM "Grieta", a cultural collective focused on young people who are dedicated to finding new ways of relating to museums, exhibitions and art galleries.
