Three groups of students from the 4th year of the Degree in Interior Design at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, have participated in the presentation of the new outdoor collection of the firm JYSK, being in charge of the decoration of its different environments.
The Danish chain proposed this challenge to the students of UDIT, with the registration of a total of 13 teams, from which the best 3 were selected: Mossphere, made up of María Bastidas, Syrene Kalakeche, Camila Peramás, Ofelia Sarmiento and Elena Olmedilla; Seasonal Wind, made up of Carolina Cisneros, Natalia Salmerón, Ana Leal, Sofía Olguín and María Mora; and Tørvind, made up of students María Ying, Raquel Martínez, Mercedes Muñoz, Carlota Novillo and Lourdes Rozano.
The latter, winner of the competition, has been in charge of the design of these outdoor spaces, characterised by the play with the concepts of desert and oasis.
In this way, some of the environments have been marked by a significant presence of plant elements, representing an oasis in the middle of the desert. In contrast, the rest of the ambiences have captured the essence of the vast expanses of sand, giving special importance to the reflections of the sun, represented through the mirrors that set the different ambiences designed.
