  • El Águila sponsors the programme for the San Isidro festivities organised by the Madrid City Council's Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport.

Several students from the Masters in Interior Design and Illustration at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, have worked together with El Águila on the 'Verbenas sin Filtrar' project, an action created by the renowned beer brand, in collaboration with the magazine El Duende and the creative agency La Más Chula, on the occasion of the Madrid festival of San Isidro.

Through a competition in which more than 75 students from the university campus took part, those selected had the opportunity to customise the shop windows of five emblematic bars in the city while representing the values of the beer brand, the capital and the San Isidro festival itself.

With the intention of turning some of the city's most traditional bars into works of art, the students had the opportunity to participate in the assembly and installation of the shop windows, helping to implement the ideas they had been working on when developing their proposals.

The decoration of Cafestic was the work of Teresa Castellanos, Ricardo Sánchez Díaz-Corralejo, Pablo Peix de Nó, Liseth Roldán, Daniela Salinas, Begoña del Valle and Inés Barbany, who brought the 'Wake up the party' project to life.

And for you, what does San Isidro mean to you?', a work by the students Cristina Merchán, Yalexy Guerrero and Paula del Salto, adorns the window of Tinterillo, located in the San Miguel Market.

Meanwhile, 'Con las raíces a flor de piel', created by Diana Rodríguez, Nuria Paredes, Alejandra Martínez and Florencia Pinto, will decorate the window of Abonavida until 19 May.

Continuing with the assembly day, the group visited Chulo de Madrid, which was decorated with 'La pradera llega al bar' created by Sara O. Sánchez, Natalia Gómez, Valerine Calixto, Felipe Guzmán, Luisa Fuentes, Beatriz Llavona, Cristina Izquierdo and Juan Bruno.

Finally, the students went to El Carmín, whose shop window was customised with 'Festeja lo oculto', a project in which Julián E. Basto Beltrán, Andrea Carrón Pereira, Alejandro Charry Illera, Alicia Esteso Pérez, Nuria Pérez Martínez and Pablo Pérez Puig took part.

All the students' works can be visited until Sunday 19 May.
