As every year, Madrid becomes the capital of fashion, hosting the fashion shows of the most important firms in our country.

Some thirty students from the Fashion Design and Fashion Management and Communication degrees at UDIT, University of Design and Technology, had the opportunity to collaborate in the fashion shows of SkunkFunk, the sustainable fashion brand of the Basque designer Maia Eder, which debuted for the first time in the capital, and Andalucía es Flamenca, the Andalusian fashion show in which more than 50 designers and firms presented their proposals in the heart of Madrid.

The students played an essential role in the preparation of the fashion shows. As wardrobe assistants, they worked tirelessly to ensure that each garment was impeccable and perfect to dazzle on the catwalk. From outfit selection to last-minute adjustments, these students demonstrated their skill and attention to detail.

They also helped coordinate models, make-up artists and stylists, ensuring that everything ran smoothly before and during the show.

In addition to the support provided during the realisation of these two catwalks at the 78th edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, six final-year students of the Degree in Fashion Management and Communication were actively involved during the organisation of "Lo Fugaz", the fashion show of the final-year students of the Degree in Fashion Design at UDIT.

The collaboration between students and fashion brands underlines the importance of providing opportunities for the next generation of designers and fashion professionals.
