Óscar Llano, a student of the Degree in Design and Development of Video Games and Virtual Environments at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, has participated in the World Finals of the international Rainbow Six Siege competition, held in Atlanta, reaching the Top 8 of the tournament.
Since 2019, no Spaniard had managed to qualify to participate in a world championship.
Champion of other prestigious competitions such as the Six Masters Iberia or the Spain Nationals, Óscar Llano embarked on a new adventure last August, signing for the Arab team Geekay Esports. Since he joined the project, they have already been proclaimed champions of the Arab league, as well as of the Saudi Esports League.
In this new phase, Oscar 'WaZo' has had the opportunity to work alongside ALO, the team's coach and, according to him, his main role is to ensure that the team "works as well as possible and is as close to each other as possible".
Óscar says that the experience of adapting to competing in an Arab league has been very positive, as he has discovered players who are very close and have a very high level of play.
