Within the framework of the celebration of the International Tourism Forum TURIUM 2023 and in a context of reflection and dialogue on creativity and experiences linked to tourism, our students of the Degree in Audiovisual Design and Illustration have created a mural that has been exhibited in the Beatriz Building.
Clara Amat, Antonio Burón, Micaela de Arce, Celia Herrero, Lucía López, Sara Love, María Olaya, Ana Pérez, Isaac Piña, Ivan Raya, Gabriela Riera, Carlos Romero and Lucas Ucelay, who are currently in their second and third year of the Degree, have developed this project that fuses the richness of the centenary avant-gardes with a contemporary vision of a hopeful future.
Inspired by the revolutionary works that defined the first decades of the 20th century, this creativity proposes an organic mural where autonomous elements unite in a common purpose. Creativity becomes the common thread, weaving a visual narrative that captures the essence of movements such as Cubism, Futurism and Suprematism, fusing them into a contemporary expression.
The vibrant colour palette and dynamic arrangement of shapes and lines are not only aesthetically striking, but also reflect the core values of creativity, innovation, travel, culture and experiences.
Each element of the mural has been carefully developed by a student, being a personal reflection that contributes to the overall work.
