More than 1,000 participants took part in the new edition of Hack For Good, the 48-hour hackathon that seeks creative, innovative and sustainable solutions to a challenge posed and which is being held simultaneously in 16 cities.
Promoted by the Telefónica Foundation and held at the company's Campus 42, this is the largest hackathon in Spain and seeks to promote teamwork and creativity in the creation of technology solutions with a social purpose.
Myriam Collada, Alejandro Martín and Pablo Menénez-Morán, second year students of the Degree in Design and Development of Video Games and Virtual Environments at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology, have won third place with their work group for their project "NA-TOUR".
"NA-TOUR" is a family board game that combines physical cards with hybrid AR technology, with the aim of teaching about sustainable tourism and promoting good decisions when planning a trip. All this, from an environmental, social, financial and welfare point of view.
A project in which, together with two students from Telefónica's Area 42, they worked to unite design, technology and sustainable tourism.
