Presentation

Assaad Awad is a Spanish-Lebanese artist and university lecturer with more than 15 years of experience in higher education and specialised training in design and applied arts, fashion and product design. From an early age he manifested a strong creative inclination. Growing up in Lebanon with limited access to artistic and technological resources, he found inspiration in everyday elements that he transformed into tangible objects. Without internet or fashion media references, she built her own creative universe, developing an autonomous and experimental look.

After graduating and working for ten years, he founded his own advertising agency. Subsequently, he began a new phase focused on the design of accessories and wearable pieces, collaborating with international figures and institutions such as Lady Gaga, Madonna, Mugler Paris, the Royal Theatre of Madrid, Prime Videos and Hermès and Balenciaga together with the Museo del Traje.

His current practice focuses on the fusion between traditional craftsmanship and advanced technologies, combining leather goods, 3D printing and 3D scanning under sustainability criteria. Through his teaching, workshops and conferences, he advocates responsible production models and actively participates in research and development. As a mentor, he encourages new generations of hybrid artisans, helping to define a new paradigm of luxury based on innovation, sustainability and technical excellence.
