María Eugenia Blázquez

PhD in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), awarded Cum Laude (2014), accredited as Contratada Doctora by ANECA and holder of a CNEAI research merit (Sexenio).
She received a one-year research grant at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe.
She is a member of the UCM Research Group on Museology and Documentation, Conservation and Restoration Techniques of Cultural Heritage, and participates in INNOVA-Teaching projects focused on cultural heritage in education.
She combines her teaching duties with work in museology and cultural management, collaborating with the Community of Madrid, CA2M and CEHOPU. An artist with an international career since 1992, her work uses metaphors to reflect on culture, knowledge and perception.
