PhD in Industrial Organisation (cum laude; UPM), Telecommunications Engineer (UPM) and Executive MBA (IE Business School).
I have developed my professional career in multinationals in the fields of sales and marketing of high-tech products and services (experience of more than 30 years), as well as in the more purely technical areas such as telecommunication networks (radio and fibre optics) and renewable energy.
Since 2001, I am a mentor for MBA programmes, start-ups and Corporate in the IE Entrepreneurship Department. Since 2022, I am a university professor, teaching subjects such as Fundamentals of Business Management, Business Organization and Industrial Production Systems, Digitization of the Supply Chain, Digitization Models in Business, Fundamentals of Automation, Mathematical Fundamentals, Perception Systems (Computer Vision), Circuit Theory, Fundamentals of Electronics, Design of Products, Services and Innovation and Prototyping. Since 2009, I have been a speaker and author of articles in different international conferences and scientific journals, as well as a reviewer of articles in the Utilities Policy journal.
I have been a member of the Innovation Committee of the Spanish Institute of Engineering (IIE) and of the Smart Cities (COIT) and Space (COIT, European programmes Copernicus and Nereus) working groups. I am a researcher in the thematic areas of sustainability, energy, product/solution design, entrepreneurship and prototyping.
Currently, I teach Statistics and Probability and Workshop in the Full Stack and Data Science degrees at UDIT.
