Presentation
Jorge Fragua holds a PhD in Design and Modern History, with a background in Graphic Design and Multimedia. His academic and professional career has always revolved around books, publishing culture and aesthetics: from 16th century printed books to contemporary design manuals.
His research connects theory and practice, exploring how graphic and editorial processes express aesthetic and cultural ideas over time. He is particularly interested in how history can serve as a critical tool for thinking about design today.
He also works as an editorial consultant and curator of design knowledge, helping studios and creative teams to structure complex content with historical rigour and narrative clarity.
