Trained in industrial design at the Polytechnic School of Seville and the Polytechnic University of Valencia, in addition to studies in Design and Communication for Integration and Diversity at the University of Bedfordshire (UK), Mario Fuentes has more than 15 years of international experience in product design, automotive, team leadership and development of innovative solutions. His profile combines a solid creative and technical background, reinforced with a Master in Product Development at Elisava School of Design, postgraduate training in Digital Modelling, a Certificate in Project Management from the Official College of Industrial Engineers of Madrid and his current specialisation in Project, Programme and Portfolio Management at IE Business School.

Currently, Mario Fuentes is the director of the Master's Degree in Product Design at UDIT, providing a vision connected to industry, innovation and professional practice. Throughout his career he has worked in some of the most demanding industrial design and automotive environments, collaborating with brands such as Ferrari, SEAT/CUPRA, Geely Design and Lynk & Co, and leading international teams and projects in cities such as Maranello, Barcelona, Gothenburg and London. He was also co-founder of RUMA Design Studio, where he promoted projects linked to mobility, technological product design and healthcare. His career has been recognised with international awards such as the iF Gold Award 2020, the iF Design Award 2024, the A'Design Award 2020 and the HI-MACS Design Contest, consolidating a profile that brings to the master's degree a contemporary, global outlook aligned with the standards of current product design.
