Born in Moscow in 1985, Nicolai Troshinsky studied illustration in Madrid and has been working as a freelance illustrator since 2006. In 2009, he graduated from the French animation film school “La Poudrière”. In 2010, he began developing experimental video games. His game Loop Raccord was selected for numerous international exhibitions and festivals. In 2013, his animated short film Astigmatismo received several awards and selections at international festivals, including Sundance, Annecy, and Sitges. In 2022, he released the video game Card Shark, created in collaboration with the studio “Nerial”, and in 2023 he began developing live visuals for electronic music. Throughout this time, he has given talks, workshops, and courses at various illustration and animation schools, including the Istituto Europeo di Design, UDIT, La Escuela Minúscula, and Escuela de Arte nº10.
