Susana Jurado Apruzzese

MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Executive MBA from IE Business School and certified in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University. Susana's professional career has been focused on corporate innovation for more than 25 years. She is currently Head of Telefónica Venture Builder, the vehicle for creating new businesses based on innovative ideas with high market potential. Previously, she was Head of Telefónica Open Innovation Campus, which aims to explore and implement collaborative models to generate impactful innovation together with academia. Prior to this role, for more than seven years, she was Head of Innovation Portfolio, responsible for running and evolving Telefónica's intrapreneurship programme, Lean Elephant. She is co-author of the Harvard Business Review case study "Telefonica: A Lean Elephant" and of two books "The Agile Company" and "Lean Startup: Practical Application for Entrepreneurs, Intrapreneurs and Trainers".
