UDIT celebrates About Fashion, its first Fashion Communication Week
About Fashion, Encounters and Experience of companies and fashion communication is the first Fashion Communication Week organised by UDIT, University of Design and Technology.
A total of three days in which the students of the University's Degree in Fashion Management and Communication have had the opportunity to attend various sessions led by renowned professionals in the fashion, beauty and luxury communication sector.
The inauguration of About Fashion was led by the TVE journalist specialising in fashion Rafael Muñoz who, with more than 20 years of experience in front of the cameras, spoke to the students about his professional career, and Alejandro Gómez Palomo, Creative Director of PALOMO Spain, who was interviewed by the former in an entertaining talk that thrilled all the attendees.
The second day featured the participation of Marta Flores, Director of InStyle magazine, who spoke about the aesthetic evolution of the magazine over the two years she has been at the helm; Raúl Romero, communications specialist and Press Officer for brands such as Pertegaz, Jorge Vázquez, Roberto Coin, Inés Domecq Shoes and Hedenbrand, who gave the students the opportunity to learn first-hand how to organise an event for a luxury brand, and Sergio de León, Deputy Managing Director of Loewe Perfumes, who gave those attending his session an insight into the business vision of one of Spain's major luxury companies.
About Fashion closed its first edition with a day in which the stylist Chabela García and the photographer Javi López led a photo shoot starring students, while the afternoon was dedicated to influencer marketing with a round table with the participation of Jorge Redondo, Creative Director of Redondo Brand, Jessie Chanes, influencer and content creator, and Natalia Presas, Talent Manager at the agency The Lab Talents.
