UDIT will offer the first edition of the Official Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence in this academic year.
Artificial Intelligence is revolutionising society. An area dedicated to the development and creation of systems that mimic human intelligence and behaviour and which, taking advantage of the capabilities it provides, can help to improve predictions, promote innovation, optimise products and services or increase productivity and efficiency, among many other benefits.
According to data from IndesIA, the Spanish Association of Artificial Intelligence for Industry, it is estimated that by 2025 there will be a need for 90,000 new professionals with expertise in Artificial Intelligence in Spain alone.
That is why, motivated by employability and the search for the best opportunities in the labour market, UDIT, University of Design and Technology, launches the new Official Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence. The programme, which starts on 13 November, is aimed at graduates (in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics or Physics, among others) interested in acquiring knowledge in this sector, both for use in development projects in companies and in the research sector.
With the aim of training experts in emerging and current technologies and with a great capacity to adapt to market changes, students will be prepared to apply the most advanced Artificial Intelligence techniques, lead application development teams or join university research teams, among many other opportunities.

With a faculty that combines its teaching work with its professional career, the objectives of the Official Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence include the development of programmes in programming languages used in artificial intelligence, such as Python or R; the application of advanced optimisation and regularisation techniques to improve the performance of the machine learning model; understanding the market, its habits and needs for products or services in the field of Artificial Intelligence; the development of image and object recognition systems using advanced AI techniques; the analysis of current trends in the field of AI or the implementation of deep neural networks to solve AI problems.
