UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology will grow in the academic year 2024-2025 with a new and spectacular Campus dedicated to accommodate all students of the degrees in the areas of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences of the University.

UDIT's new International Campus of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences is ideally located opposite the Quinta de los Molinos Park, a green space with more than 20 hectares of land, a large number of gardens and a wide variety of recreational activities, including hiking, cycling, picnics and cultural events, making it an ideal place to enjoy nature and unwind after a day of study and work.

The new UDIT building, which has been legally advised by Andersen, has a privileged location with a metro station at the main entrance, several bus lines and Bicimad service, as well as easy connection to the A-2.

The building, owned by Ibervalles, has a "WiredScore Gold" rating -a certification standard that measures the connectivity and digital quality of buildings-; LEED Platinum certification -which includes measures that improve the energy efficiency of the building and reduce the impact on the environment- and WELL GOLD certification that guarantees the health, quality of life and comfort of its users. The international real estate consultancy firm JLL has advised Ibervalles on this project.

According to Juan Cayón, Rector of UDIT: "Today we take a very important step towards our future with the announcement of the opening of a new building dedicated to all degrees in the area of technology, innovation and applied sciences.

This milestone represents a spectacular growth in space for our institution and a renewed commitment to academic excellence and cutting-edge technology.

In this sense, our new campus will provide us with state-of-the-art facilities, foster interdisciplinary collaboration and allow us to strengthen our leading position in university education specialising in design, innovation and technology.

Javier Isidro Mosquera, CEO of Ibervalles, said: "This lease represents an important step in our asset repositioning strategy, providing them with the highest standards in sustainability and technology," said Javier Isidro Mosquera, CEO of Ibervalles. " Furthermore, by housing a university, we will contribute to boosting the economic and social development of the district," he added.

A unique, state-of-the-art building

UDIT's new International Campus of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences aims to become a unique learning space in Madrid.

It will house, in its 7,000m2, flexible and modular spaces to adapt to the different needs and types of projects and spaces for networking between students, faculty and companies.

It will also be equipped with the latest technology in network infrastructures, communication systems, laboratory equipment and collaborative work tools.

The building will house specialised laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for different areas of study, such as robotics, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, among others.

In addition to these work and study areas, the building will have spaces for rest and leisure, such as interior courtyards, terraces on each floor and a rooftop, where members of the university community can relax.

Training offer in Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences
