UDIT begins the academic year 2024-2025 consolidated as the first and largest university specialising in Design and Technology in Spain.

  • The institution will inaugurate a spectacular new 7,000 m2 International Campus of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences on Calle Alcalá during this academic year.


Nearly 3,000 students of more than 30 different nationalities are starting the new academic year 2024-2025 at UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology.

These figures, together with its wide academic offer, make it the first and largest University specialising in these subjects in Spain and represent the result and culmination of more than 20 years of the educational project of the prestigious ESNE School of Design.

UDIT is an innovative and pioneering institution that, throughout its history, has paved the way for official university education in these areas, being the driving force behind the first official degrees in Video Game Design and Development, Fashion Design, Product Design and Interior Design in Spain.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, UDIT's training offer will be expanded with the launch of two new degrees in the field of technology: Full-Stack Development and Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

These new degrees will be added to the University's existing academic offer in Design, which includes the official degrees in Fashion Design, Multimedia and Graphic Design, Interior Design, Product Design, Design and Development of Video Games and Virtual Environments, Audiovisual Design and Illustration, Animation, Fashion Management and Communication, and Advertising and Brand Creation.

Likewise, UDIT will start in the coming weeks the new course of its official postgraduate degrees: User Experience, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Illustration, Product Design, Artificial Intelligence and Fashion Design.

A spectacular new Campus for the academic year 2024-2025

UDIT will grow in the academic year 2024-2025 with a spectacular new Campus dedicated to accommodate all students of the degrees in the areas of Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences of the University.

The new UDIT Campus will incorporate in its 7,000m2, flexible and modular spaces to adapt to the different needs and types of projects and spaces for networking between students, faculty and companies.

It will also be equipped with the latest technology in network infrastructures, communications systems, laboratory equipment and collaborative work tools.

The building will house specialised laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for different areas of study, such as robotics, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, among others.

This new UDIT Campus will be added to the one the University already has at Avenida de Alfonso XIII, 97 and 99 and Calle Colombia, 44, which is dedicated to its design degrees.

Connection with industry, awards and internationality

UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology maintains collaboration agreements with the most prestigious design universities in the world and has signed 2,400 agreements with companies where its students can carry out professional internships.

Over the last decade, the largest university in these subjects in Spain has had an outstanding presence and a long track record in the main sectorial events of the industries in which it trains its students.

It also carries out extensive research work, structured into seven working groups and more than 60 researchers working at full capacity in the fields of Design and Technology.

The institution was recognised in 2019 with the National Innovation and Design Award granted by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and its students have won more than 300 national and international awards in recent years.
