UDIT brings together Spanish and Mexican designers in the second edition of El Negocio de la Moda (The Business of Fashion)
This training programme will take place from 27 October to 7 November .
UDIT, University of Design, Innovation and Technology is holding, for the second year running, The Business of Fashion, an intensive training plan on the business of the fashion design sector, organised and developed by the university itself .
This training programme, which takes place between Monday 27 October and Friday 7 November at the Design and Creative Industries Campus, offers a number of Mexican designers the opportunity to participate in different sessions given byrenowned industry professionals, such as Sergio Lázaro (Creative Director), Magali de Yus (El Corte Inglés), Carlos Fernández Oliva (Laboratoire Native), Javier Miguel (Futuros Deseables) and Salvador Suárez (Good Rebels).
On this occasion, the designers who have travelled to Madrid to enjoy the initiative are Arizbeth Fierro, from KUU; Denisse Kuri, from LAGO; and Concha Orvañanos, from YAKAMPOT. They will also be accompanied by four Spanish counterparts: Vicente Martos, Paloma Suárez and Ana and Patricia Baudesson, all of them graduates in Fashion Design at UDIT.
Over the two weeks, the seven talents will enjoy sessions focused on trends, business strategy, brand identity and communication, entrepreneurial skills, innovation and business generation, sales and digital marketing, decision making, expansion and internationalisation, and sustainability and responsible branding .
The designers will have to apply everything they have learnt in the different sessions in a final project, which they will present to their peers and teachers on Friday 7 November .
